Prerequisite
All other MPH core requirements must be taken before or concurrently with the capstone project.
The MPH Capstone is an opportunity for students to work on public health practice projects that are of particular interest to them. The goal is for students to apply the skills and competencies they have acquired to a public health problem that simulates a professional practice experience.
Learning Objectives
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
- Synthesize, integrate and apply the skills and competencies they have acquired to a public health problem that approximates a professional practice experience
Methods of Assessment
This course is evaluated as follows:
- 50% Participation
- 25% Paper(s)
- 25% Presentation(s)
All MPH students are required to do a capstone project.
