Introduction to Online Learning
Designed for MHA students who seek an understanding of continuous improvement in healthcare organizations using cases and applications.
Provides broad exposure to current knowledge, competencies, and management tools required for the effective operation of health care delivery systems. Focuses on how to apply continuous improvement tools and methodologies in various health care environments. Provides a detailed explanation of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies with the opportunity to apply these skills to real-world examples within health care settings.
Learning Objectives
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
- Apply management theories and tools to the analysis of a current health care organization
- Conduct analyses that support organizational decision-making
- Assess simulation-learning experiences
