Q&A: Japan Nuclear Crisis


On March 11, a magnitude 8.9 earthquake struck off the Northeastern coast of Japan causing severe damage and triggering a devastating tsunami. The destruction also crippled operations at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant raising the threat of a nuclear disaster.

In a video recorded March 15, Jonathan Links, PhD, professor and director of the Center for Public Health Preparedness at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, answers questions about Japan’s nuclear crisis.
