D.A. Henderson, The Inside Story of Eradicating a Worldwide Killer

On May 8, D.A. Henderson, MD, MPH, dean emeritus of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, visited the School to discuss his new book, Smallpox: The Death of a Disease, which presents an inside look at the elimination of the worldwide killer. Henderson led the World Health Organization's campaign that eradicated smallpox in the 1970s. The special lecture and book signing were part of the School's Milestones in Public Health Grand Rounds Series.
