Describe your experiences after graduation.

Since graduating, I have obtained a job in the field I was interested in. I currently work as a Senior Exposure Modeler for ICF. I have the opportunity to work on different aspects of chemical risk assessment with most of my focus on different modeling projects. I have been involved with both the development and application of a variety of models.

How did your degree prepare you for your current and future roles in environmental science?

The toxicology and risk assessment track was the perfect combination for my interest and the transition to the field I currently work in. I apply a lot of what I have learned both from the classes and internship on a daily basis. One of the focuses of my internship, benchmark dose modeling, is a skill I still use today. I am very grateful for this unique emphasis and for all the help I received along the way.

What was your favorite thing about living in Baltimore or going to Johns Hopkins?

I enjoyed my time living in Baltimore and attending the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. I loved to take my dog for a run along the waterfront promenade and explore restaurants in the Fells Point area. The Bloomberg School of Public Health is very well-respected and I will always be grateful for all the doors it opened for me!
