Are you interested in using learning how to use a logic model to build a research or program team from persons with different and sometime contradictory perspectives?
Developing and Using Logic Models/Theory of Change for Behavioral Health and Violence Prevention Programs. Introduces the concept of the logic model/theory of change in the development of programming and in the creation of grant applications. Reviews logic models/theory of change strategies from existing programming related to the prevention of behavioral health problems/violence or the treatment/remediation of behavioral health problems/violence/trauma. Discusses strategies for using the logic model/theory of change to build effective teams.
Learning Objectives
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
- Identify components of logic models for mental and behavioral health programming
- Utilize examples of logic model templates to prepare logic models for mental and behavioral health programming.
- Identify how the development of a logic models can be used as part of the team building process within a service organization.
- Identify how logic models can be incorporated into a grant proposal.
