Injuries & Disability at Iganga-Mayuge Demographic Surveillance System, Uganda

To better measure disability as an outcome to understand the magnitude of the problem and its impact on health and socio-economic status, we pilot tested a surveillance for disability measurement and explored the integration of disability measurement in a surveillance site. 

 We continue to work with the IM-DSS to enhance their data collection systems and collect longitudinal data on injuries and disability.
