Health, Economic & Long-Term Social Impact of Injuries

Through HEALS, we aim to understand the disability, social, and economic impact of injuries in low- and middle-income countries.

To do so, we developed an innovative tool, as well as data collection approaches, to assess the long-term consequences of traumatic injuries in these settings. We also pilot-tested tools across Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Kenya over a 1-year time period
