Advanced Quantitative Methods Projects to Support Intervention Scale-Up
Johns Hopkins ALACRITY Center researchers will develop innovative research methods to support the widespread implementation of interventions shown to be effective in clinical trials.
Johns Hopkins ALACRITY Center Quantitative Methods Projects Include:
Informing Adaptive Intervention Study Designs: Johns Hopkins ALACRITY Center investigators are developing methods to support the design of adaptive interventions testing sequential, increasingly intensive implementation strategies to support the widespread implementation of interventions to improve physical health and reduce premature mortality in people with serious mental illness.
Evaluating the Heterogeneity of Treatment Effects: In this project, ALACRITY investigators are developing innovative methods for examining variation in how effective interventions to improve physical health and reduce premature mortality among people with serious mental illness are across different sub-groups of people or settings.
Assessing the Generalizability of Trials to Target Populations: ALACRITY Center researchers are developing methods to estimate the effects of interventions shown to be effective in randomized clinical trials in real-world populations and settings, which often differ from research participants and environments.
