Global Rehabilitation Leadership Institute

Health systems must be organized to meet the growing demand for rehabilitation and assistive technology (AT) services, which requires multisectoral action from stakeholders beyond just the rehabilitation sector. As a core component of Learning, Acting, and Building for Rehabilitation in Health Systems (ReLAB-HS) and funded by the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Global Rehabilitation Leadership Institute (GRLI) aims to equip and empower professionals across all disciplines and levels of the health system to translate technical know-how into effective, implementable programs and policies that strengthen health systems and elevate rehabilitation and assistive technology services across low- and middle-income countries.

Our 2024 GRLI offering engaged 52 participants in its online segment from June 10 to July 17. The in-person session followed in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from July 21 to July 26.
