About the Event

Hosted by the Institute for Global Tobacco Control (IGTC), the monthly Innovations in Tobacco Control lecture series welcomes key researchers and experts to share ideas, present their work, and spark discussion. Presented via Zoom, this month’s event welcomes Pinpin Zheng, MD, PhD, for a lecture entitled “Changes in Tobacco Control in China Over the Past 10 Years.”

The lecture will be followed by a brief moderated Q&A and a recording of the event will subsequently be posted to IGTC’s YouTube channel.

Pinpin Zheng, MD, PhD

Fudan University

Pinpin Zheng is a professor and director of the Department of Preventive Medicine and Health Education in the School of Public Health, Fudan University in Shanghai, China. Additionally, she is director of the Tobacco Control Research Center at Fudan University’s Health Communication Institute. She has worked in tobacco control research for twenty years, leading research on smoking cessation, smoke-free policy, and tobacco control-related social norms.
