Lisa Cooper Named Master in the American College of Physicians

Johns Hopkins Center for Health Equity’s (CHE) director, Lisa Cooper, MD, MPH, MACP was named a Master in the American College of Physicians in April 2024 in recognition of her distinguished achievements in health equity research.  

This award recognizes ACP Global Members with distinguished achievements in clinical care, medical education, clinical research, public service, health education, and/or applicable contributions as a mentor to students, trainees, and medical and research professionals.  

Recipients must also demonstrate excellence in clinical care, innovation, advocacy, knowledge, humanism, and in their commitment to health equity. Cooper has been recognized due to her extensive achievements as a health equity researcher, educator, mentor, and clinician.
