Sherita Hill Golden, MD, MHS Receives Honors

Sherita Hill Golden, MD, MHS received several honors in 2022.

She was appointed as a member of the Data Advisory Subcommittee to the Maryland Commission on Health Equity, which became active in October 2021. The purpose of the Commission is to “determine ways for state and local governments to work collaboratively and to implement policies and laws to reduce health disparities and to increase health equity across the state.”

Dr. Hill Golden also received the University of Maryland Alumni Association President’s Award for distinguished professional achievement.

In addition to these honors, Dr. Hill Golden was inducted into the Indispensable Role of Blacks at Johns Hopkins University and received the Health Services Leadership Award, Baltimore Area Council of Boy Scouts of America.
