We are committed to training current and aspiring professionals and practitioners who seek to advance global health and gender equity. Through a variety of programs and partnerships with academic faculty, practitioners, non-governmental organizations, and non-profit organizations, our training is designed to provide the necessary skills and frameworks to make meaningful differences in public health, policy and beyond.

The Summer Institute in Gender and Health is an exciting opportunity to build or refresh skills in various aspects of gender and equity analysis. Featuring teaching by global experts, the courses attract current JHU students and global professionals seeking skills development. It’s a great primer for learners seeking to integrate a gendered approach in their current thinking or practice, or those who wish to advise on gender within health organizations.
The Summer Institute in Gender and Health is composed of a series of short, focused, online courses. These are open to all and focus on applied methods and are grounded in real-world challenges. They cover topics such as: gender analysis, women’s leadership and gender-based violence.
