Katharine E. Welsh Speaker Series
The R3 Center for Innovation in Science Education (R3ISE) has started a novel speaker series to be held monthly, starting in January 2025. The speaker series will host speakers from across the world, all aimed at building a community of educators around enhancing science education and offering innovative approaches to R3-related topics.

Talk Title:
Responsible Science (Communication) - An Introspective Approach

Priscilla's research expertise includes the mediatization of science and its communication, visual literacy, (inter)cultural communication, meaningful interactions in and between science and art, responsible research and innovation, innovative methodologies, cultural heritage, and public science dissemination. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology, along with advanced degrees in Cultural Anthropology, Philosophy, Education, and a Bachelor's in Elementary Education.
