The Johns Hopkins International Injury Research Unit Welcomes Newest Faculty Member

In January, Dr. Qingfeng Li joined the Department of International Health as an assistant scientist.  Dr. Li received his PhD in Population and Health and MHS in Biostatistics from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and MS in Economics from Peking University in China. He has more than seven years of experience in quantitative modeling and program monitoring and evaluation.

Qingfeng’s interests are statistical and demographic analyses of injury prevention and population health, as well as development of system dynamics models to address the complexity of many public health issues. He will work closely with IIRU and play an important role in the unit’s quantitative analysis portfolio.
