The Johns Hopkins International Injury Research Unit Welcomes Newest Faculty Member

Published

Last month, the Johns Hopkins International Injury Research Unit welcomed its newest faculty member. Dr. Connie Hoe has joined the Department of International Health and Health System Program as an Assistant Scientist and will be continuing her work with JH-IIRU on road safety.

Dr. Hoe’s interest is in health policy analysis and she is particularly interested in the political dimensions of injury prevention policies in low-and-middle-income countries. She will play an integral role in leading the unit’s policy portfolio.

Dr. Hoe received her PhD in Health Systems at the Bloomberg School, her MSW from the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice, and her BA from Johns Hopkins University. She has six years of experience in international public health research and two years of experience in public health project management.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Hoe to JH-IIRU!
