The Johns Hopkins Center for Global Women’s Health and Gender Equity will host Evidence to Policy Action: Igniting Change to End Gender-Based Violence on Monday, May 6th from 1pm-7pm at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Center at 555 Pennsylvania Ave in Washington, DC.

The event situates the 2023 inaugural United States National Plan to End Gender-Based Violence within in a global context to enable learning and progress across diverse settings.  We convene policy leaders, advocates, practitioners, philanthropy and scholars to examine progress since the plan’s release, strategize on implementation, and examine metrics for accountability.  A keynote panel and networking reception will mobilize action and catalyze connectivity to advance global women’s health and gender equity.

Speakers include leadership from the White House Gender Policy Council, UN Women, CDC, Ujima, Inc., NNEDV, JHU, and more.
