Join us for a lively discussion on the next generation of gender equity and gender-based violence measures, the importance of systematic measurement, and value of a centralized measurement repository in this rapidly evolving space. We discuss adaptation and optimization of gender equity and gender-based violence measures, drawing on data from the Nairobi youth cohort. We overmeasurement performance and recommendations for emergent topics (tech-facilitated abuse, economic abuse), longstanding measurement challenges (sexual coercion, sexual harassment), and critical short-term indicators of successful programming and policy (community GBV perceptions, confidence in GBV services, internalized GBV stigma, and help-seeking norms).
