Internship placement at the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities

The Wendy Klag Center facilitates both paid and unpaid internship placements for Bloomberg School graduate students at the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities (MCDD) at Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore.

We fund up to $5,000 per fiscal year (July 1 to June 30) for up to two interns. Paid by the Bloomberg School, internship placements are considered on-campus employment.

As a condition of internship, all recipients must write a short report about their internship, lead a Wendy Klag Center journal club during the school year, and attend journal clubs regularly.

Applications for 2023-2024 academic year internships will open in September 27, 2023 and January 31, 2024.

International applicants

Applications by international students are welcome, but placement may involve additional steps to ensure the internship is properly authorized.
