Ruth Karron, MD, director of the JHVI and the Center for Immunization Research, is trained in pediatric infectious diseases and virology and has a particular interest in respiratory viruses and respiratory virus vaccines.

Ruth R. Faden, PhD, MPH, is the Philip Franklin Wagley Professor of Biomedical Ethics and executive director of Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics. 

William J. Moss, MD, MPH, is the Director of Epidemiology at the International Vaccine Access Center and a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology.  He has expertise in the epidemiology and control of childhood infections in developing countries including the control of measles through vaccination, the measurement of vaccine coverage through biomarker and administrative means and the role of HIV-1 on childhood vaccine preventable diseases.
