Leadership Initiative:

Moore Center signs on to initiative on online tech and child protection. 

In early September, 2023, the Moore Center signed on to this global letter urging the European Union to support a new regulation to detect and prevent online child sexual abuse.

Great Photo, Lovely Life:

The new HBO documentary, Great Photo, Lovely Life provides a nuanced portrayal of one family’s struggle with child sexual abuse. Directed by Amanda Mustard and co-produced by center collaborator Luke Malone, this film ends with links to resources developed by the Moore Center for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse.

For people affected by child sexual abuse, feeling heard, seen, and supported by family members is among the strongest predictors of recovery and well-being. Conversations about child sexual abuse can also help to keep children and teens safe from experiencing or engaging in harmful sexual behaviors in the first place.
