The Lighthouse seeks to conduct community-based research that will help improve health and human conditions and empower the community. We work daily and directly with people in the Baltimore community and at sites around the world.
Services On-site
In addition to our investigative activities, we also provide our clients with information, risk reduction materials, and referrals to medical, mental health, and social services.
We Welcome Gifts Small and Large
While many of our projects are funded by grants from the NIH or CDC, we also rely heavily on gifts from private foundations and individuals interested in building healthier communities and ending health disparities, whether through community harm reduction programs or global climate change action.
