Center-Associated Research Highlights

Johns Hopkins Center for Women's Health, Sex, and Gender Research is associated with multiple Research Projects, including as a Specialized Center of Research Excellence (SCORE)  on Sex and Age Differences in Immunity to Influenza as part of the SCORE program of the Office of Research on Women’s Health at NIH.

A Hub for Women’s Health Research

We serve as a national resource for translational research at multiple levels of analysis to identify the role of biological sex differences on the health of women.

We not only serve as a vital hub for research on sex and gender, we also provide pilot funding, training, and education. Our investigators provide leadership in the development and promotion of standards and policies for the consideration of sex as a biological variable and sex differences in biomedical research.
