The Johns Hopkins Center for Women's Health, Sex, and Gender Research is a collaboration among the Bloomberg School of Public Health, the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. Together we promote collaborative research on women’s health and gender differences in health.
The mission of the Johns Hopkins Center for Women's Health, Sex, and Gender Research is to expand scientific leadership and promote discovery in women’s health, sex, and gender research by bringing together multidisciplinary faculty and mentoring trainees from across the Johns Hopkins community.
Our vision is to advance the health of women and achieve women’s health equity through impactful research.

CWHSGR Co-Directors Honored at Foundation for Gender Specific Medicine Gala
Congratulations to Sabra Klein and Wendy Bennett for receiving awards from The Foundation For Gender-Specific Medicine recognizing their contributions to mentoring junior investigators. This public-private partnership has financially supported the research of junior faculty through the CWHSGR Pilot Grant Program, most recently Liisa Hantsoo, PhD at Johns Hopkins Medicine, investigating sex and gender differences in health and disease.
