CMAP Nexus Convenings
The Nexus event series convenes top experts to tackle today’s most urgent policy challenges surrounding mental health and substance use disorders. Through these gatherings, CMAP provides decisionmakers from local, state, and federal levels with a collaborative space for discussing and advancing solutions to these critical issues. Each convening centers on a specific topic and is led by CMAP faculty experts, offering diverse perspectives and insights.

Work-In-Progress/Book Club Series
Each semester, the CMAP community gathers monthly for a series alternating between a work-in-progress (WIP) presentation and a book club discussion. Lunch is provided for in-person attendees.
Where: In-person at 1812 Ashland Ave and Zoom*
When: Monthly on Tuesdays from 12p-1p
Work-In-Progress:
These sessions offer a supportive space for students and faculty to present projects they’re currently working on. Attendees provide constructive feedback, fostering collaboration and idea-sharing across the CMAP community.
Book Club:
Dive into thought-provoking discussions on books exploring mental health and addiction. Each session spotlights a new title selected by CMAP community members, encouraging a shared exploration of key themes and perspectives.
