The Center was honored to host Dr. Tamara Koneztka, PhD, for her presentation on the synergies between Medicaid home and community-bases services and Medicare home-based services. 

Katherine Miller, PhD, MSPH, reflects on the journey that led to her becoming an assistant professor and health services researcher with a focus on long-term care and caregiving.

On September 30, participants from the Center and external partner organizations kicked off a NEXUS project, led by Dr. Kate Miller and supported by several Center members, to create a compendium of policies for Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS). The group discussed critical issues in HCBS, highlighting the need for comprehensive data and resource integration, challenges in eligibility reassessments, the importance of stratified quality measures for equity, and the unique difficulties faced by dual-eligible individuals and those with specific conditions.
