The Relationship Between Medicaid Home and Community Based Services and Medicare Home-Based Services

NEXUS Event

On September 30, participants from the Center and external partner organizations kicked off a NEXUS project, led by Dr. Kate Miller and supported by several Center members, to create a compendium of policies for Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS). The group discussed critical issues in HCBS, highlighting the need for comprehensive data and resource integration, challenges in eligibility reassessments, the importance of stratified quality measures for equity, and the unique difficulties faced by dual-eligible individuals and those with specific conditions.
