Nadia Diamond-Smith an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatics and Institute for Global health Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She studies the intersection between women’s empowerment and reproductive and maternal health, mostly in South Asia. She is interested in how women's status in their homes and communities impacts their health across their life course, and how to design and evaluate interventions that can improve women's health and lives more broadly.
