Overview
Dr. Andrew Azman is an infectious disease epidemiologist and Associate Scientist in the Department of Epidemiology. Dr. Azman's multi-disciplinary work focuses on the dynamics of enteric diseases with a special focuses on seroepidemiolgy and vaccines. He currently leads studies on the population-level impact of cholera vaccination in Democratic Republic of the Congo, one on cholera epidemiology in Bangladesh and participates in numerous other projects around the world mostly involving cholera, hepatitis E and SARS-CoV-2. Dr. Azman is a core member of the Johns Hopkins Infectious Disease Dynamics group.
