The qualitative feedback provided through course evaluations is an important component in course revision. Students' reflections, including constructive criticism, can lead to change or even reinforcement in many aspects of existing course design and facilitation. Analyzing this feedback, however, is challenging.

In this workshop, we'll discuss why student feedback is essential to the course revision process and then share a method for analyzing qualitative student course evaluations. We'll apply this method in a guided hands-on activity to identify actionable items for proposed course revisions. Please bring your student course evaluation data to the workshop to use in the activity. You'll leave this session with a clear path forward on how you can improve your course and ultimately improve the learning experience for you and your students.

Registration is required After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the session.

If you are interested in analyzing quantitative student data for course revision, then check out the recording of our previous workshop, "Diving Deep into Course Data (June 2023)" on CTL's On-Demand Workshop Videos page.
