What Human Performance Measures Can Do for You & What You Should Know about Physiological Tests for Clinical Studies

Please join us for an engaging discussion about the ICTR Research Laboratory Core and planned new services that may aid researchers. Speakers Neal Fedarko, PhD, professor and director of the Core, and Drs. Will Fountain and Ryan Dougherty, experts in Human Bioenergetics, will share measures that enable functional phenotyping. Beyond the traditional stress test, there are other stimulus/response measures that can be used for interrogation of homeostasis, resiliency, and functional capacity at multiple levels.

Attendees will gain an understanding of:

– Types of physiologic measures and their appropriate uses

– What, when, where and how functional these measures are made

– How to choose measures and assess the validity of their result
