About the Event
The Center for Gun Violence Solutions hosted a hybrid event to discuss a new evaluation estimating the effects of Safe Streets Baltimore, a community violence intervention program, on gun violence and to strategize on what is needed to continue or strengthen program impacts. A panel discussion will include representatives from the Center, the Baltimore Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement, LifeBridge Health, and Catholic Charities of Baltimore, two community-based organizations contracted by the city to run the program; and representatives from Safe Streets Baltimore.
