Dr. Shannon N. Wood is a mixed-methods researcher who aims to promote women’s health and improve sexual and reproductive health outcomes in low-resource settings. She holds a Masters of Science in Reproductive and Sexual Health Research from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Doctor of Philosophy in Population, Family and Reproductive Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is currently an Assistant Scientist in the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health, where she conducts research on the intersection of gender and power dynamics and sexual and reproductive health outcomes, and as actively involved in teaching and mentoring within the department.
