Do you have an interesting course or workshop the learning outcomes of which you want to publish?

Wait a minute - did you think about the ethical implications?

Join us for part 2 of our interactive Teaching as Research (TAR) workshop series where we will cover:

  • When and whom to consult in ethics approval questions, and particularly, when in doubt
  • What to pay attention to when collecting educational data from students or other vulnerable populations
  • What a typical IRB application for a TAR project can look like
  • How to distinguish Teaching as Research from Course-Based Research

Workshop will be facilitated by Liz Stuart, Executive Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, and the speakers will be BSPH faculty members Gundula Bosch, ME Hughes, Roza Selimyan and Maggie Wear.

Workshop will be offered over Zoom to facilitate recording for asynchronous viewers.
