Rijo M. John, PhD, is an economist and public health policy analyst based in Kerala, India. Dr. John does independent research and technical consulting for several institutions including the World Health Organization, University of Illinois at Chicago, and Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids among others. He is also an adjunct professor at the Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kochi, and a guest faculty at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, India. The title of his presentation is: Goods and Services Taxation and affordability of tobacco products in India.
