The Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health runs a series of seminars and networking events as part of its women's leadership programming. Many events, conferences, and programs designed to support women leaders in global health are developed by and feature senior leaders. But there is clear demand from young women in global health for resources to support their networks and leadership growth. We have developed a unique near-peer approach to women’s leadership programming that focuses on building essential leadership skills and strengthening global networks for emerging women leaders in training and the early stages of their career.

Join the Center for Global Health for the next Global Networking for Emerging Women Leaders event on December 1. We will be using a platform called “Gather” to gather virtually for a networking activity.

In this session, will focus on "table" or group networking. Prior to the event, attendees will receive a map of the Gather space as well as random table assignments to help add structure to the event.

When you log on, you’ll choose an avatar and move from table to table based on your assignments, getting the opportunity to meet a new group every 15 minutes for 3 rounds! Then we’ll have time for mingling. We hope this event will be a catalyst for meaningful connection!
