Students Taking Summer Classes Elsewhere

Fall 2014 – Current Policies

  • There is a limit of 12 transfer credits from other colleges and universities
  • Classes may be taken at accredited 2-year or 4-year colleges and universities
  • These students must complete a minimum of 100 JHU credits; therefore, taking classes elsewhere in the summer will not necessarily speed up their degree completion timeline. Freshmen intending to graduate early should be made aware of the 100-credit policy. See the Residency tab in the E-Catalog.
