We are honored to hear from Dr. Jiani Yu as she presents ‘Medicare Telehealth Delivery during the Public Health Emergency and Beyond.’ Dr. Yu is a health services researcher with a specialization in health economics, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her research primarily revolves around two major themes: 1) the impacts of telehealth utilization on access to care, and health care quality and costs; and 2) health care delivery strategies and gaps in the workforce that impact medical care and quality of life for Medicare beneficiaries, with a focus on nursing home residents.

The presentation will examine the implications of broader access to telehealth among the Medicare population, and highlight the types of physicians and patients most likely to be impacted by the potential expiration of Medicare telehealth flexibilities.
