Project Description
The goal of this project to examine the impact of nocturnal hypoxia on cardiometabolic outcomes including continuously blood glucose and morning blood pressure. Participants will undergo a cross-over trial of oxygen vs. room air while wearing continue glucose monitors.
Scope of Work
Students will gain hands-on experience in conducting a clinical trial including recruitment and conduct of the intervention. They administer food questionnaires. They will help analyze data include time series data from wearable monitors including glucose monitors and oximeters. Students will also gain experience in respiratory and sleep physiology.
